The Faculty of Medicine and Defence Health – A Process Focussed, High Performance Design Organisation

Abstract

This paper examines the establishment of the Faculty of Medicine and Defence Health of University Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM) from a management perspective, focussing on systems, processes, and design of a high-performance organisation. An analysis of Mullins Organisation Subsystem and elements of high performance design organisation as they relate to the establishment of the Faculty is discussed.
